Empowering the Community for 48 Years: Nurul Islam Centre’s Enduring Legacy

In May 1975, the foundation of Nurul Islam Masjid was laid by Brother Inamullah Khan, a dedicated Councillor of Rabita Al-Alam Al-Islamiyyah (The Muslim World League) of Saudi Arabia, alongside Brother Abdul Muhsin Al-Sheikh. The visionary founder, Dr. Mamoniat (ra), aimed to propel and elevate Islam, dedicating the Centre to the religious, educational, spiritual, and moral advancement of Muslims in accordance with the teachings of the Noble Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam).

Comprising a 1500-capacity Masjid, a Qur’an Academy, a Maktab, a Nursery School, a Girls Only School (grade 1 to grade 12), a 100-seater Auditorium, two Catering Halls for functions and weddings, and extensive parking space, the Centre is an embodiment of Dr. Mamoniat’s profound vision. Linked to the Nurul Islam Plaza and Flats, it stands as a multifaceted hub for spirituality and community service.

For 48 years, the Nurul Islam Centre has been an unwavering beacon, profoundly impacting the Lenasia community. Beyond architectural marvels, it has become a dynamic force fostering spiritual growth, education, and community well-being. The enduring legacy of Nurul Islam Centre speaks volumes, embodying a commitment to enriching lives and embodying the principles of Islam.
